C Major Scale with Triad Chords for Ukulele
These are the notes of the C major scale played in ascending and then descending pitch. Each note is followed by the triad chord built from it as the root note plus the third and fifth notes counted from the root. The resulting seven chords are C major, D minor, E minor, F major, G major, A minor and B diminished.
Practice this ukulele exercise to learn the triads in the C major scale and where the root notes in the corresponding chord shapes are. The latter is especially useful for playing chord inversions and corresponding barre chord shapes all over the fretboard and actually knowing what chords you play.
