The chord progression C - G - Am - F, a.k.a. I - V - VI - IV, played with 5 different picking patterns in 4/4 time. Each pattern gives the progression a distinctive character. The Am and F chords are played with a C note on the A string to reduce the number of times the same pitch is played twice in a row, it still happens on the G chord.
